The term ‘we’, ‘our’, ‘us’ and ‘this web store’, ‘this website’ referring to ‘Inou Technology’ or www.inoutechnology.com.au

Agreement

By using this Website, placing an order using this website, buying the products listed on this site you agree to be bound by these Terms and conditions below. For some reasons that you are not satisfy or wish to accept these terms and condition set out below, you simply should not continue to use or browse this website.

Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be notified on the Website and the effect is immediate after website has been updated. It is your responsibility to check for such changes regularly. This Website and the material contained within (or any part) without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website or its contents.

While we try to ensure that all details (including prices) displayed on this web site are correct and up to date, we cannot guarantee that they are. We do, however, update this web site as frequently as possible. You must ensure that, prior to placing an order; you have checked all relevant details about the products and/or services you have selected, as those may have changed since you last visited this web site.

All products and/or services displayed on this web site are subject to availability. We will advise you if a product or service is unavailable. All prices are subject to change at any time up to the time the order is shipped. If a price is corrected due to exceptional circumstances, we will inform you as soon as possible and provide you with the option of either cancelling the order or to continue with the order at the corrected price.

Ordering

The information displayed on this web site, including prices, does not constitute an offer to contract or enter into an agreement.

When you send an order by means of the online store for products and/or services, your order shall constitute an offer for the products and/or services selected. We shall not be obliged to accept your order. If we do, your order may be accepted by us by means of an e-mail confirming the order sent to the e-mail address supplied with the order.

We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason, prior to the order being shipped. A contract or agreement for the products and/or services selected shall only be formed once our confirmation message is correctly sent to the address of your electronic mailbox on your Internet access provider's server. It is your responsibility to verify that your mailbox is in proper working order and you must assume the risk of all consequences for transmission or operational failures.

Payment

Inou technology uses third party payment gateways to process payments. We accept payment by way of direct deposit, Cheque/Money order and Paypal (for processing Credit card). If other payments are required, please email us for special consideration.

Delivery

The products or goods on our web store are sent directly from Hong Kong, Singapore or Malaysia warehouse via UPS, FedEx, DHL or other couriers. The delivery of goods or products bought from our web store normally take from 3-7 days after the money have been received or cleared in our account. Shipment sometimes can take longer due to location of the customers, local custom clearance and unexpected weather condition such as stormed or typhoon that could effect the shipping time. Once the products or goods are shipped, customer will be notified via email the tracking number. Customer is solely responsible for custom duty tax and other charges applicable to each shipment. In the event that FedEx or couriers return goods to us as undeliverable for any reason, additional delivery charges may apply to cover the cost of re-delivery. If orders are subsequently cancelled, any refund will have all delivery charges deducted from any refund amount given. Customer please make sure that the address for the products or goods to be delivered to are accurate and correct, we do not responsible for the lost of the products or goods due to the incorrect address provided to us.

Out of Delivery Area (ODA) Shipment

Please take note that any orders going to remote area that are not service by Fedex, UPS or DHL is called Out of Delivery Area, we will use EMS (Express Mail Service) to ship the orders. It comes with online tracking system as well but will takes slightly more days to reach customers. Expect at least some 5 working day of deliver time.

Dead on Arrival - DOA

DOA implies that the product either cannot be turned on or be ready in use after taking out from the box. Buyer must report this situation to the seller within 24 hours upon the item is delivered. If the item is not tested or examined by the buyer within the first 24 hours after the good is received, DOA returned policy would not be granted to the buyer. No further exception will be considered about the time issue. The 24 hours period starts at the item shows “delivered” from the courier service’s tracking system. Replacement will be made on “DOA” item. In the event that a replacement cannot be made due to product availability or any other reasons, Inou Technology will repair the product for the buyer. A repair order may take up to 14 business days starting from the day when Inou Technology received the defective unit. The seller, Inou Technology has the right to make the final decision on whether a replacement or a repair process should be issued under any circumstances or situation Under any circumstances, the seller, Inou Technology, reserves the final rights to approve any DOA replacement or a warranty coverage repair. The seller, Inou Technology also has the right to make the final decision on whether the issue pointed out by the buyer is considered a defect or not. In the event that a replacement or repair is not granted to the buyer, the buyer will have to find their own repair source and is responsible for all the related cost and expenses.

Insurance

When ordering the products through us, the shipping insurance is covered by the freight company to the limited amount. Although very rare, we have seen shipments gone missing while in transit, but bear in mind that this could happen. The insurance coverage included lost or stolen goods in transit using courier services.

Returns

All return product is subject to the approval by the Inou Technology. Returned items without an approval RMA (Return Material Authorization) number from us will not be processed. Any shipping and handling expenses result on those returns without approval will be responsible by the buyer. Legal action will be taken if buyer refused to be responsible on these charges along with the cost of any legal expenses occurred.

Upon receiving the potential defective item from the buyer, Inou Technology will examine and test for the defective claim that was made by the buyer. Unless the seller can reproduce the same fault indicated by the buyer, otherwise the return will not be accepted. All return shipment from Inou Technology will be via ground shipping method or the equivalent subject to be determined by us.

In the event of returning the product, buyer is fully responsible for the product’s safety return to us. Item must be received within 7 days after the issue of RMA. The return merchandize should include the RMA number that was issued by us, full name, shipping address, contact phone number, and the reason for return. All accessories and manual must also be included inside the package as it was originally received by the buyer. Return merchandize should be well packed. Any missing parts, damaged items or inappropriate information will not be accepted. Any unidentified return which is aged over 14 days, Inou Technology will have the right to dispose such item without notifying the buyer. No replacement will be issued on those unidentified return once it has been disposed. Buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost. We strongly advise that an insured, tracked delivery method (e.g. FedEx, UPS, DHL or other secured courier) is used to return goods.

Cancellation

Customers can cancel their orders for most items within 5 days of receipt of goods. Goods must be unopened and customers must take reasonable care of the goods while in their possession and both goods and packaging must be returned in resaleable condition.

Shipping Fee to return the item to us is to be borne by the customer. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of returned goods subject to the condition of the item being received in good and resaleable condition. Please note that orders will only be considered cancelled once you have received confirmation from us, by email, that this has been done. A restocking fee of 15% will be deducted from any refund for all cancelled and returned items.

Custom clearance

There are countries that have strict custom clearance and every country practices difference method of clearance. Certain countries may take up to 1-3 days of clearance by the custom. Import duties are responsibility of a buyer in all respective countries buying them. A return of goods by refusal to pay import duty by the customer may incur certain custom agency fee. Failure to paid any agency fee and import duty may result in confiscation and forfeit of products to the local custom of respective countries.

Warranty

All products purchased from this web site are covered by a 12 month limited warranty, in relation to defective materials or workmanship from the date that they are purchased from us, under which your products may be repaired free of charge by sending the product back to us for repair. Please note that the shipping fee incurred in sending the item to us(in Hong Kong, Malaysia or Singapore warehouse) for repair is to be borne by the customer.

For products covered with international warranty, please send to your local service centre for repair/replacement by presenting the warranty card to them (this warranty card will be sent together with your shipment).

For products not covered with international warranty, please send to us(in Hong Kong, Malaysia or Singapore warehouse) by FedEx, UPS or DHL or other reliable shipping company for repair. Kindly note that buyer is solely liable for any shipment lost-in-transit.

Please allow up to 30 days for the product to be repaired or replaced. Note that in some rare case the repair may takes up to 8 to 12 weeks due to availability of spare parts.  

What is not covered by the warranty

The warranty SERVICE does not cover expandable items including:
  • Handsfree
  • Desktop Charger
  • Memory Card
  • Data Cable
  • Display Screen (LCD)
  • Motherboard (Some specific components)
  • Defect on Camera
  • Bluetooth

Any product, which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed will not be covered by warranty. Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
  • Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
  • Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by Inou Technology
  • Any damage of the product due to shipment.
  • Removal or installation of the product.
  • Causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure.
  • Use of supplies or parts not meeting the product's specifications.
  • Any other cause, which does not relate to a product defect.
  • Removal, installation and set-up service charges by any third party.
Note: The manufacture may refuse to honour the 12 months warranty if the product is not fall under their responsibility, this is at the manufacturers discretion.
